The Saint-Eustache native was crowned runner-up during the NASCAR Pinty&#8217;s final race at Jukasa Motor Speedway last Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;The race went well,&#8221; said Lacroix. \u201cThe qualifying session was rained out, but as I had the fastest time in practice, I started from pole position. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The driver of the <strong># 74 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumpertobumper.ca\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Bumper to Bumper<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.total.com\/canada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Total<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pfcbrakes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>PFC Brakes<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacroixtuning.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lacroix Tuning<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> car led the first 90 laps of the race. &#8220;We would have needed a win to claim the championship, and bad luck for Andrew Ranger. We adjusted the car during the mid-race break to try to have a competitive car for the remainder of the event, but it did not pay off. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the final laps, Kevin fought with Ranger and Jason Hathaway, but ultimately could not win the race, and instead finished 5th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lacroix makes a positive assessment of the season that has just ended; &#8220;I think it&#8217;s been our best season so far. Unfortunately, we did not adapt as well as the other teams to the new tires. We were a little less dominant than in previous years, but we had no mechanical misfortune and very little bad luck. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We&#8217;re the team with the most led laps in the season, we&#8217;ve had five pole position in 13 races, so I&#8217;m very happy with the season, it&#8217;s been good, but not as good as Andrew&#8217;s! &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Indeed, Lacroix fought at the front of the field most of the time, claiming ten Top 5 in 13 events.
