The Saint-Eustache native finished 6th during this action-packed race with thrilling final laps which almost translated into his first victory in Nova-Scotia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bumper to Bumper team was confident about a possible first win on the Antigonish oval, as in previous years the <strong># 74 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumpertobumper.ca\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Bumper to Bumper<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.total.com\/canada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Total<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pfcbrakes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>PFC Brakes<\/strong><\/a><strong>&nbsp;\/&nbsp;<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacroixtuning.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Lacroix Tuning<\/strong><\/a><\/strong> car has always been great on this track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Claiming the 3rd best time during the practice session, then scoring the 5th time in qualifying, Lacroix was in a good position to win the race because right from the start, he set the tone of the race by being the fastest driver on the track, climbing to the first place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We had a great race; we stayed in first place for a long time,&#8221; explained Kevin. \u201cI am very pleased with how the event turned out because we hosted many Bumper to Bumper guests at the track. It&#8217;s always impressive to see so many people with our team&#8217;s jersey. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the end of the race was extremely eventful. &#8220;There were a series of late caution flags which hurt us because our car performs best on longer runs, but not so much on short stints. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lacroix fell into 3rd position during a restart and with two laps to go in NASCAR overtime, it was all or nothing for the remaining drivers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grappling with Jason Hathaway, Lacroix grabbed the lead. However, Hathaway took the pole back, sending Kevin Lacroix into the wall after contact between the two cars.
