However, he did claim a 4th place finish during the 50th edition of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/gp3r.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res<\/a><\/strong> (GP3R), which allowed him to score valuable points in the Championship standings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While Mother Nature had plans of her own, the on-track time was limited due to severe rain and thunderstorms. With no qualifying and only a practice session on Sunday morning before the race, the starting grid was determined by the overall standings\u2019 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lacroix started second, on the front row beside his main rival Andrew Ranger. A few laps after the green flag dropped, he took the lead from Ranger, never looking back. Distancing himself from Andrew Ranger, he then proceeded to a pit stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, the pit stop did not go as planned while the refueling tank remained attached to the car. Lacroix got a pass-through penalty as he didn\u2019t come back in the pits right away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We had a lack of communication about the pit stop,&#8221; said Lacroix, visibly disappointed. \u201cWe had a great car that could have put us on the podium, and maybe even get us our third victory in the streets of Trois-Rivi\u00e8res.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Returning to the track at the back of the field, the driver of <strong>#74 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumpertobumper.ca\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Bumper to Bumper<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.total.com\/canada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Total<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pfcbrakes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">PFC Brakes<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> got off to a good restart and made his way back to the front. However, Trois-Rivi\u00e8res\u2019 streets can be unforgiving and several cautions put a halt to his comeback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is in 4th place that he finally finished this 50-lap race at GP3R. Although this result does not reflect the efforts of the Bumper to Bumper team, Lacroix comes away with valuable points towards the championship hunt which allowed him to get closer to the leader.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;It was not a good weekend for us, but at least we caught up a little bit in the Championship. Andrew did not have a great weekend at the GP3R either, which helped us out. &#8220;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kevin and the entire Bumper to Bumper team were proud to receive hundreds of guests at the event. Like in the past years, the stands were filled with red Bumper to Bumper t-shirts. &#8220;I would have liked to give our guests a win, but I still think they were treated to a good show in every<br>aspect.
