{"id":2659,"date":"2019-09-22T16:46:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-22T15:46:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/kevinlacroix.com\/bumper-to-bumper\/"},"modified":"2020-08-13T12:57:53","modified_gmt":"2020-08-13T16:57:53","slug":"kevin-lacroix-dominates-in-new-hampshireto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kevinlacroix.com\/en\/kevin-lacroix-dominates-in-new-hampshireto\/","title":{"rendered":"KEVIN LACROIX DOMINATES IN NEW HAMPSHIRE!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Loudon<\/strong> (NH), September 22, 2019 \u2013 Team <strong>Bumper to Bumper<\/strong> had a very encouraging event during the second NASCAR Pinty&#8217;s series event at the <strong>New Hampshire Motor Speedway<\/strong> last Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kevin Lacroix, driver of the <strong>#74 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bumpertobumper.ca\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Bumper to Bumper<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.total.com\/canada\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Total<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pfcbrakes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>PFC Brakes<\/strong><\/a><strong>\u00a0\/\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lacroixtuning.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lacroix Tuning<\/a><\/strong><\/strong> was dominant on the one-mile oval during practice and qualifying, posting the fastest time twice. \u201cWe have an excellent car for this track,&#8221; said Lacroix. \u201cEverything went very well; the speed was there and we were confident for Saturday&#8217;s event at noon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Saint-Eustache native took the start from pole position, staying there for 92 of the 100 laps of the race on the \u201c<strong>Magic Mile<\/strong>\u201d. However, at the end of the race, one of his tire delaminated, causing him to lose speed. It was at this point that Andrew Ranger, his main competitor for the title, took the lead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lacroix was still going to be satisfied with a second place finish, but that is not what happened when, in the last corner, Alex Labb\u00e9 pushed him into the wall, taking Lacroix&#8217;s spot and preventing him from scoring precious points for the championship, even though Labb\u00e9 is no longer in the fight for the title.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI don&#8217;t know what to say about Labb\u00e9&#8217;s move at the end of the race,&#8221; explained the driver. \u201cIt&#8217;s a shame, a real shame. \u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kevin finished in 12th place, one lap behind the other drivers who managed topass the chequered flag.
