KEVIN LACROIX EAGER TO DISCOVER FLAMBORO SPEEDWAY THIS WEEKEND!

St-Eustache, August 26, 2020 – Flamboro Speedway will be the host to the second NASCAR Pinty’s Series event this Saturday, August 29. Drivers will compete in two 125-lap races on the Ontario oval track.

Strong from a third-place finish in the second race of the season at Sunset Speedway, the Bumper to Bumper team is ready to repeat their feat, this time at Flamboro Speedway. The track is still unknown to the series and the drivers, but Kevin Lacroix and the St-Eustache-based team went there to test ahead of this weekend’s race.

“I enjoyed the track, “said Kevin Lacroix, driver of the #74 Bumper to Bumper / Total / PFC Brakes / Lacroix Tuning.”I’m happy to go to a track we’ve never raced on before. We will be coming in as equals, and it will be interesting to see how everyone performs. »

The event format adopted by the NASCAR Pinty’s Series for the 2020 season features two 125- lap races, separated by a 30-minute break to give competitors a chance to adjust their cars. Before that, a 30-minute practice session is scheduled earlier in the afternoon.

Practice will be at 12:45 p.m., while the green flag for the first race will be given at 4:15 p.m., followed by the start of the second race at 5:35 p.m. There will be a random draw to determine starting positions, following the same procedure than at Sunset Speedway.

The 1/3-mile track was established in 1962 in Millgrove, Ontario. The semi-banked track is only about an hour outside of Toronto, in a suburb of Hamilton.
