KEVIN LACROIX CROWNED RUNNER-UP OF THE NASCAR PINTY’S SERIES!

Hagersville, ON, September 30, 2019 – It was a positive 2019 season for Kevin Lacroix and the Bumper to Bumper team. The Saint-Eustache native was crowned runner-up during the NASCAR Pinty’s final race at Jukasa Motor Speedway last Saturday.

“The race went well,” said Lacroix. “The qualifying session was rained out, but as I had the fastest time in practice, I started from pole position. “

The driver of the # 74 Bumper to Bumper / Total / PFC Brakes / Lacroix Tuning car led the first 90 laps of the race. “We would have needed a win to claim the championship, and bad luck for Andrew Ranger. We adjusted the car during the mid-race break to try to have a competitive car for the remainder of the event, but it did not pay off. “

In the final laps, Kevin fought with Ranger and Jason Hathaway, but ultimately could not win the race, and instead finished 5th.

Lacroix makes a positive assessment of the season that has just ended; “I think it’s been our best season so far. Unfortunately, we did not adapt as well as the other teams to the new tires. We were a little less dominant than in previous years, but we had no mechanical misfortune and very little bad luck. “

“We’re the team with the most led laps in the season, we’ve had five pole position in 13 races, so I’m very happy with the season, it’s been good, but not as good as Andrew’s! “

Indeed, Lacroix fought at the front of the field most of the time, claiming ten Top 5 in 13 events. He will be back in NASCAR Pinty’s next season to clinch his first title in the series.

Kevin wishes to thank his sponsors Bumper To Bumper, Total, PFC Brakes and Gates Corporation, a partnership between growing companies that represent excellence, ambition and victory.
