KEVIN LACROIX LOOKING TO CLAIM HIS FIRST TITLE IN JUKASA!
Saint-Eustache, QC, September 26, 2019 – The Bumper to Bumper team will return to Jukasa Motor Speedway this Saturday, September 28, for the NASCAR Pinty’s season finale. It will be during the Pinty’s Fall Brawl that the 2019 champion of the Canadian NASCAR series will be crowned.
For Kevin Lacroix, it will be a difficult task to claim the title. Before the event at the New Hampshire Motor Speedway last Saturday, he was the leader in the Championship standings with only a two-point gap with Andrew Ranger.
He had a great race in the United States, leading 92 of the 100 laps. However, he was taken out of podium contention by a competitor at the end of the race, a few meters before the finish line. This 12 th place made him lose the lead, while Ranger won the race and scored valuable points.
“It’s a shame what happened at the end of the race in New Hampshire,” said Lacroix. “But it’s not worth talking about it. At this point, we just have to look forward and hope that everything goes well in Jukasa. “
Kevin is 11 points behind Ranger. “For me to win the title, I would have to win the race and Andrew finish 9 th , or if I make a Top 3 and he does not do half of the race. “
The silver lining in all of this ordeal is that the driver of the # 74 Bumper to Bumper / Total / PFC Brakes / Lacroix Tuning masters this track very well. He had his first oval victory there last year and has never finished out of the Top 3 since.
The Jukasa Motor Speedway, formerly known as Cayuga Speedway, is a 0.625 mile (1 km) track.25 mille (1 km).
